After 18 years in veterinary medicine, I’ve learned one thing for sure—I absolutely love the excitement of emergency medicine. No two shifts are ever the same, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I enjoy thinking on my feet, tackling challenging cases, and helping pets and their families through some of their toughest moments. I’m also a bit of a lifelong student and am always looking for new continuing education opportunities to sharpen my skills and stay up to date.
When I’m off the clock, life is just as busy! I’m a wife, mom of four, and horse lover with four horses who keep me on my toes. If I’m not at the barn or in the ER, you’ll probably find me cooking (or eating!) delicious Latin food, out dancing, or taking one of our classic cars—a Camaro or Corvette—for a cruise. I believe life is all about finding joy in the little things, embracing new adventures, and bringing a positive attitude wherever I go—and that’s the same energy I bring to every shift.
